Suppurate System was formed in 1996 by Micael and Ryonai (formerly of Blam Honey). They gave themselves the nickname "total-art-unit" and, in 1999, they decided they not only wanted to make gothic lolita accessories and clothing, but to create music as well.

In 1999, they released one single, "affekt pendule", consisting of four tracks, in two versions (black or white), and then later released another single in 2000 titled "Heather Disperse" which was available in an A Type and B Type.

Since then, Suppurate System has decided not to make more singles or albums, and has focused on designing gothic lolita clothing and accessories, producing pieces for artists such as Mana, Közi, Kaoru of Dir en grey and Kaya.
