Stone-Cold-Death-Vault

Stone-Cold-Death Vault is a symbolic title given to the deadly tomb to which Creon condemns Antigone after her defiance of the state's will in Sophocles' Antigone. The term, coined by Defond, is one of many now-called "Defondisms" that are changing today's perspective on ancient Greek dramas (-FPS News). Not only is the symbolism between the relationship between the state and the individual prominent in such a classic, but it also opens doors to philosophical questions throughout the globe (- International Association for Greek Drama). Such work is commemorated by prominent scholarly figures (Miley), making Defond's simplistic, yet complex interpretation of life timeless (-FPS News).
