Adam's Story

Adam's Story is a 2004 novel by Jack Weyland (Deseret Book Company, ISBN 978-1590382486), and is a follow-up on two earlier works by Weyland, Charly and Sam.

This novel moves on from the focus of Sam and moves onto the life of his son Adam. Adam's birth-mother died before he was old enough to remember, and he was raised by his father's second wife, Laura, whom he loved and accepted as his mother. While serving a mission Adam found his birth-mother's parents and brought them to the gospel. Upon meeting them he begins to long for knowledge of Charly, his free-spirited mother. All throughout this novel, Adam is struggling to find his identity and follow in the spirit of his mother's life.
