During the War of the Five Kings, Lorch (along with Gregor Clegane and Vargo Hoat) was given the task to forage the riverlands and to burn what he did not take. Lorch's raiding party even encountered and attacked Yoren's group of recruits for the Night's Watch (with Arya Stark hidden among them)and was responsible for Yoren's murder. Lorch was captured by Roose Bolton when Bolton persueded Vargo Hoat to betray House Lannister and to capture Harrenhal. After Harrenhall's fall, Lorch was fed to a bear as entertainment to Bolton, Hoat and the Brave Companions.
