The KBC are an indie band from Preston, Lancashire.
It took another year for second single "Pride Before The Fall" to hit the shelves. This received a better reception and gained national radio play. Followed up by "Not Anymore" they landed live sessions on BBC Radio 1 with Steve Lamacq as well as support slots with The Strokes, The Paddingtons, Forward Russia, The Sunshine Underground, Milburn, and !!!.
A deal with Japanese label Fabtone Records was signed in 2006 and the band released 'Boxed Beats & Shelved Rythms EP', a collection of their UK singles which featured remixes by The Whip and Performance. This was followed by the bands debut LP release 'On The Beat!' in early 2007.
The delay and eventual non-release of a UK LP consequently ended with the band parting company with High Voltage Sounds.
'Walking Disaster' was released on October 22 2007 on their own label, Scattergraph. Since then The KBC have retreated to the studio.
