Jersey Stakes

The Jersey Stakes is a Group 3 flat horse race in the United Kingdom for three-year-old thoroughbreds. It is run over a distance of 7 furlongs (1,408 metres) at Ascot Racecourse at the Royal meeting in June.

It was first run in 1919, replacing the second leg of the Triennial Stakes, and is named after the 4th Earl of Jersey, who was Master of the Buckhounds in 1782-83. The race is for horses which have not yet won at Group 1 or Group 2 level.
