A Rigger in its original usage was someone who attended to the rigging of a sailing ship, from which is derived a number of related terms and jobs (see Rigger (job)).It may also mean:

  • A person who sets up a racing shell in the sport of rowing
  • Short for outrigger, often used in rowing or canoeing
  • A bondage rigger
