Appreciating America plan

Since 2007, the subprime mortgage crisis has rocked the mortgage industry. During this time, many borrowers have lost their homes to foreclosure while lenders have experienced a drastic increase in costly write-downs. In response to this situation, Refinance.com Chairman and CEO Nicholas Bratsafolis has authored a plan called “Appreciating America,” which works to help prevent the losses for both parties. The plan has received support from members of the United States Congress, and offers a solution for homeowners whose mortgage exceeds the value of their home.
