Reconstructor

Reconstructor is a program that allows anyone to customize an iso image of Ubuntu (create a remaster).

Features

• Ability to customize the Boot image, Boot Progress Splash (usplash), wallpaper, Gnome Splash Screen, GDM theme, and other settings
• Ability to add software to the new compilation
• Ability to enable all the repositories and add custom ones
• Integrated option to burn the iso
• Ability to use graphical programs inside the chroot (experimental)

Future developments

Reconstructor 3 seems to be already in development . Planned features include Chrooted X (allowing easier customization of some things) and the ability to create a Live USB.
