"
Questioningly" is a song by the
Ramones on their fourth album
Road to Ruin. It was written by
Dee Dee Ramone. He talked about the song in his autobiography
Lobotomy: Suriviving The Ramones:
"A bad breakdown inspired me to write 'Questioningly' which I composed on a folk guitar, and then insisted on playing it for my mother after I had it worked out. 'Mom, Mom,' I shouted into the living room from the hallway of her apartment in Forest Hills. 'Can I play something for you?' She listened to me play it as we sat in front of the TV set. I could tell that she was very surprised that I could write a song. 'How did you do that?,' she asked me. 'I don't know,' I said."
