Jezero

Jezero (Cyrillic: Језеро) is a village and a municipality in Republika Srpska, Bosnia and Herzegovina. The municipality was created from part of the pre-war municipality of Jajce (the other part of the pre-war municipality is now in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina).

Name

The village name Jezero means lake in both the Bosnian and Serbian languages.

Geography

It is located between municipalities of Mrkonjić Grad in the north-west, Jajce in the east, and Šipovo in the south.
