"Old Pop in an Oak" is a dance song by the Swedish band Rednex, off their first album Sex & Violins. It is essentially a nonsensical song that relies on a catchy beat and the band's trademark blend of country and electronica to carry it - the melody and structure of the song bears a resemblance to their single "Cotton-Eye Joe".
While not a hit in the U.S. (as their rendition of "Cotton Eye Joe" was), the song can readily be found on several dance compilation albums.
