Peridea anceps

The Great Prominent (Peridea anceps) is a moth of the family Notodontidae. It is found in Central and Southern Europe and North Africa.

The wingspan is 50-65 mm. The moth flies from April to July depending on the location.

The larvae feed on Oak.
