Nuance can refer to the following:

  • A subtle shift in color, or feeling, or meaning.
  • The making of a refined or subtle distinction in ideas.
  • More recently, nuance refers to the distinct lack of ability to make a point one way or the other on any given topic.... much like this very definition
  • Nuance Communications, the name of a company that sells voice and productivity software solutions.
  • Nuance, the name of a 1980s dance music group.
