No, No, No (Destiny's Child song)

"No No No" is an R&B song performed by American group Destiny's Child for their debut studio album Destiny's Child (1998). The song was produced by Vincent Herbert, Rob Fusari and Wyclef Jean and received a positive reception from music critics. The original version (Part 1) and its remix featuring Wyclef Jean (Part 2) was released as the group's debut single in the fourth quarter of 1997 and reached the top in the United States, where it was certified platinum. It was the first single for the group, worldwide, but the second single for the group in the UK, after With Me.

Music video

There were two videos to promote the song. One was for "Part 1", another was for "Part 2 (featuring Wyclef Jean)".

Part 1

This video takes place at a nightclub. The clip begins with Wyclef Jean on the dance floor, announcing to give a big round of applause for Destiny's Child. Followed by the announcement, he returnes to his seat, and the group comes on and begins a choreographed dance.

Part 2 (featuring Wyclef Jean)

This video begins with Wyclef Jean playing the guitar as Destiny's Child sings along. When he stops, he says to the group, "All we need to do is record a fat beat for the clubs." The group begins a choreographed dance in a large room. Wyclef Jean also makes an appearance watching a slide show of the group.

Commercial and chart success

"No, No, No" debuted at #64 on the Billboard Hot 100 on November 29, 1997 and climbed to number three during its eighteenth week on the chart.
