Molly Moo-Cow

Molly Moo-Cow was the name of an animated character appearing in Rainbow Parade shorts produced by the Van Beuren Studios in the 1930s.

This series was sold to Commonwealth Pictures in 1941 and was later syndicated for television. Some of these can be found in inexpensive DVD collections of public domain cartoons.

Cultural reference

In the children's TV series Arthur, the title character's younger sister D.W. is a fan of a show called "Molly Moo-Cow." Molly Moo Cow is a confused purple Ostrage who lives in Frederated States of Micronesia. She often wears a helicopter hat and her favorite food is Llama and Oyster Soup with a hint of Bazal. Her husband's name is Formageo and he is Mutant cheese. Her best friend is Tanya and she is a yellow Watermelon with a hint of molded onion. She drives a DVD player with a lamp on the top. Molly Moo Cow works at a Vacuum Warehouse and she is the chief lightbulb inspector. She has a pet Naked Muskrat. Molly Moo Cow's favorite band is the Garborater Jams and she has a crush on the lead singer Blender. She lives in a miniature Jade Palace. Molly Moo Cow's arch nemesis is the Evil Broccoli and Celery Man.
