Published six times a year, The Journal of Medical Practice Management focuses on delivering "how-to" advice for delivering high quality care, increasing patients' satisfaction and improving medical practices’ profitability. With an emphasis on working smarter and more efficiently, each issue features a host of proven strategies for dealing with fiscal management, marketing, information technology, benefits and compensation, legal and tax issues, office operations, coding, and human resources that practice administrators, practice managers and physicians face on a daily basis. Authoritative articles are presented in a format that is appealing to readers. The Journal of Medical Practice Management has a 20+ year track record of providing the information that physicians and administrators need to help their practices thrive. The National Library of Medicine has selected the Journal for inclusion in its prestigious Index Medicus and MEDLINE.

The Journal was founded by Marcel Frenkel, M.D./M.B.A. as a resource for the practicing physician in 1984. Originally published by Williams & Wilkins, and then sold in 1999 to Greenbranch Publishing, LLC, a leading publisher of medical practice management titles, electronic media and audio conferences for physicians, practice administrators and office practice managers.
