Mansonella is a genus of
parasitic nematode, containing the species M. perstans, M. ozzardi and M. streptocera. These parasites are generally spread by
biting midges, though M. ozzardi can also be spread by
blackflies. M. streptocera is found in Africa, M. perstans occur in Africa and South America and M. ozzardi is exclusive to the Americas.

- 27 mm for M. streptocera
- 24-28 mm (male), 32-62 mm (female) M. ozzardi
- 45 mm (male), 70-80 mm (female) M. perstans
