José Cláudio Carvalho da Silva

Although his height is only 1.75 m, Claudio is a powerful striker, with a strong ability to push defenders aside as he runs. He is difficult to catch when sprinting.

He has been described as a mixture of Ronaldo and Romario, showing light footedness, swiftness, acceleration, burst power, technique, strength, and excellent shooting. Some have said he might become the best striker in the world.

Cláudio has been capped two times by the Brazilian U-21 team.

After serving a trial at Latvian club Skonto Riga for three months, he signed for the club, along with another young prospect Luiz Carlos Caetano de Azevedo Júnior.
