Jump The Gun was an Irish band, best known for the performance of the entry of this country in the Eurovision Song Contest 1988 host in Dublin, called Take him home. After the voting process, Ireland get 79 points, reaching the 8th position. Jump The Gun was succeeded next year by Kiev Connolly & The Missing Passengers, who didn't have so many success in the contest.
