Jonah and the Pink Whale
(Spanish title: Jonás y la ballena rosada
) is a 1995 Bolivian comedy film
directed by Juan Carlos Valdivia. The film is based on the 1987 novel by José Wolfango Montes Vannuci and it focuses on a teacher who has an affair with his sister-in-law while struggling to cope with the pressures created by his wife's eccentric family.
Jonah and the Pink Whale was the Bolivian entry for the Best Foreign Language Film competition in the 68th Academy Awards, but it did not receive an Oscar nomination.
