Jeepers Creepers II is a 2003 horror film directed and written by Victor Salva. The movie is a sequel to the earlier film, Jeepers Creepers.
The film opens with a farmer named Jack Taggart Sr. and his son Jack Jr. talking when the farmer's younger son Billy is captured and killed by a supernatural being known as the Creeper, leaving both Jacks horrified and stunned.
Returning home from a Championship game, a group of high school Basketball players, their coaches and cheerleaders
become stranded on East 9 Highway in Kassel County when their bus breaks down. The trapped students and their coaches soon discover that it was the Creeper
, a monster that that resurfaces on the earth every 23 years to feed, that has crippled the bus. Since the Creeper is selective of who it hunts, paranoia soon rises amongst the teens.
Meanwhile, Jack and his son set out on a personal mission to hunt the Creeper down. However, it becomes evident that the creature is much stronger than they imagined; when it is decapitated, it eats a student's head and regenerates its own.
Later, in the movie's climax, the father and son battle the creeper with a homemade harpoon. The Creeper gets away, and chases a smaller group of teens, who try to get away in an exterminator's truck. The teen driving slams on the brake, which results in the Creeper crashing through the truck and causing it to flip over several times. The Creeper loses its left leg, right arm and wings in the crash. However, the Creeper still pursues one of the teens from the truck. As it's about to eat an injured teen, the farmer shoots a harpoon into the forehead of the Creeper. With the Creeper stuck to the ground because of the harpoon, the farmer proceeds to stab it repeatedly in the chest with another harpoon. Initially the farmer thinks he has killed the Creeper, but as the sun rises, a student (who knows all about the Creeper thanks to a message sent to her mind by the ghost of a previous victim) points out that the 23 days are over and it will be back.
23 years later, kids have heard about the creature the farmer has killed and desire to see it. They pay their $5 to see the "attraction"; named "Bat Out of Hell". The teens look up to find the Creeper crucified to the wall as a tourist attraction. The farmer has the harpoon gun loaded and facing the beast's heart. Teenagers turn and ask what he is waiting for and the man simply responds "about three more days, give or take a day or two".
