Emilio Esteban Infantes

Emilio Esteban Infantes y Martín (1892 - 1966) was a Spanish soldier and staff officer who served during the Civil War, and later in the Second World War as commander of the Wehrmacht's Blue Division (Spanish División Azul, Blaue Division), or 250. Infanterie-Division of the German Army integrated by Spanish falangist volunteers.

Succeeding Major General Muñoz Grandes, Esteban Infantes assumed command of the division in early 1943 and led it through its hour of crisis, the Battle of Krasny Bor in February of that year. He received the Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross.
