Gothamist.com is a blog based in New York City that focuses on news, events, food, and other local coverage. Gothamist is the flagship blog for Gothamist LLC, a company that operates fourteen city-centric websites. The company was founded in 2003 and is published by Jake Dobkin. Jen Chung is Executive Editor of Gothamist and all other affiliated city sites. Other than gothamist, sites as of July, 2008 include laist, bostonist, dcist, philyist, chicagoist, sfist, austinist, houstonist, and seattleist in the United States, and torontoist, londonist, sampaist and shanghaist internationally.

Gothamist has received a number of awards and commendations, including six Bloggies nominations. It was named a "Forbes Favorite", and a BusinessWeek "Best of the Web". In 2007, Gothamist was named blog of the year by Wired magazine and given a Wired Rave Award.
