Meghan Chevalier

Meghan Chavalier (born March 22 1969 in Bessemer, Michigan) is a transsexual actor and author and singer. Chavalier has published two books: a novel, The Mystical Journey The Book of Elandor, and her autobiography, which was released in 2007, entitled Confessions of a Transsexual Porn Star published through Author House in Bloomington, Indiana, is the first released by a transsexual in the adult film industry.

She has starred in over 150 adult films and also independent feature films including TV Cowboy. Meghan Chavalier was also an entertainer in New Orleans, Louisiana, before moving to Hollywood, California in 1995. She has been featured on the cover of many transgender magazines including Girl Talk, Transformation, Transformed, Transformation Catalogs, Body Language, and TV Epic, and was also the first transsexual to appear on the cover of AVN Magazine.

In July 2008 Meghan Chavalier founded a new organization called Stopping The Hate A Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender Human Rights Coalition to bring awareness to Hate Crimes in the LGBT Community. http://www.stoppingthehate.com.
