Farge is a small port on the Weser River in the City of Bremen. Bombing of Bremen in World War II damaged Farge targets such as the Valentin U-boot pens.

Bremen-Farge concentration camp

Bremen-Farge was subcamp number 179 of the Neuengamme concentration camp and used 2,100 people as slave labour at the U-boot Bunker Valentin. The evacuation of the Bremen-Farge began on April 10, 1945, and survivors include Raymond Portefaix.
