Specificity may refer to:

  • A concept relating to Cascading Style Sheets
  • In linguistics, specificity is the distinction of whether the referent is identifiable or not. The sentence Minna wants to meet a Norwegian has two readings: she wants to meet a certain Norwegian (specific), or she wants to meet any Norwegian (nonspecific).
