Coué, Émile, 1857-1926, French psychotherapist. He is remembered for his formula for curing by optimistic autosuggestion, "Day by day, in every way, I am getting better and better." His teaching achieved a vogue in England and the United States in the 1920s.
Couëron is a French commune in the Loire-Atlantique département and in the Pays de la Loire région.

Couëron is one of the 24 communes of the Urban Community of Nantes. It had a population of 17,808 inhabitants in the 1999 census. The commune has a land area of 44.03 km² (17.00 sq mi).
