ornamental plant blooming in early spring. It grows naturally in Central and Eastern Europe .
Characteristics
Corydalis grows to 10-20
cm tall. The colour of the
flowers varies from pink to lilac. The plant flowers in early spring, and after blooming, the entire over ground part of the plant disappears.
Cultivation
Bulbs for Corydalis solida are commonly for sale. Excellent drainage is vital and the soil should be liberally supplemented with peat moss or leaf mould.
