Choora is a set of bangles worn by Indian brides after marriage. Choora may contain different color bangles in different combinations, but the most common combination is red and white. As a tradition, a choora has to be worn by the bride for around 6 months after the marriage.White choora is symbol of peace, pink for love and red choora is symbol of shagun of long lasting enjoyment of newly wedded couples, In khatri families red choora prevail and it is considered to be symbol of prosperity. Present time combitantion of white and red choora preferred amongst the young generation of Khatri families.
