bridged the gap

Bridging the Gap (Black Eyed Peas album)

Bridging the Gap is the second album by The Black Eyed Peas, released in 2000. It contained the single "Request Line", featuring Macy Gray. It never quite took off, however, because the album was leaked, and The Black Eyed Peas' main demographic was college students at the time. In will.i.am's words, "The gap never got bridged".
