Black-headed Bulbul

The Black-headed Bulbul Pycnonotus atriceps is a member of the bulbul family of passerine birds. It is common in lowland forests, and well-distributed all over Peninsular Malaysia and West Malaysia. It has bright yellow plumage with a glossy bluish-black head and blue eyes. It is an insectivore-frugivore bird, and takes small fruit as the main diet. It closely resembles the Black-crested Bulbul, but lacks the crest. It flies in small flocks, comprising 6-8 individuals.
