The Benty Grange helmet

in 1848 from an Anglo-Saxon tumulus
) at the Benty Grange farm in Derbyshire
. It is what remains of an iron helmet with a bronze boar on the crest. This helmet matches the descriptions of warriors' helmets in Beowulf.
The remains and a reconstruction are in Sheffield's Weston Park Museum.
