"
Six Meetings Before Lunch" is the 18th episode of
The West Wing.
Plot
Toby celebrates the confirmation of their Supreme Court nominee Roberto Mendoza,
Josh discusses slavery reparations with a civil-rights attorney and
Sam and
Mallory battle over school vouchers. An arrest at a frat party attended by
the President's
daughter could prove explosive, as could the views of a controversial nominee for
Assistant Attorney General who supports
reparations for slavery.
Response
Sorkin commented that the show received hate mail following
Charlie and Zoey kissing in this episode.
Notes
C.J.'s lip-synch performance of
The Jackal was written in after Aaron Sorkin saw
Allison Janney doing the same during a rehearsal
