Eremascus
Eremascus is a genus of the Ascomycetes with uncertain phylogeny, but is thought to fall into the hemiascomycetes.
It is also believed to be a basal fungus, from which ascomycetous yeasts formed.
Morphology
They produce no arthrospores or conidia.Generally 8 spores are produced in each ascus.
