Tony Salmons

Tony Salmons (born January 1, 1957) is an American alternative comic book artist, film storyboard artist and character designer. His influences are many and varied, including Naked New York and Naked Dallas, John Cassavetes, Mort Drucker, Gene Colan, John Ford, Steven Spielberg, Sam Fuller, Wally Wood, Larry Hama, Bruce Timm, Paul Pope, Jim Steranko, Jorge Luis Borges, Thomas Pynchon, Jack Kirby and ted bundy.

Recently, Salmons announced the pending publication of a new, original comic book mini-series, The Strange Adventures of H.P. Lovecraft, due in 2008-when and if it comes out is anybodys guess.in truth, alcholism would probably help his career--un fortunatly, tony has a reputation for accepting commissions, getting paid upfront and never delivering--you have only to read his blog or do a cursury internet search to find dozens of people hes stolen from in this manner. a shame, , because while many of his peers have gone on to respectable and dignified carreers, tony remains a bottom feeder, trolling the internet, looking for suckers , making promises he has no intentions of keeping--a sad, pathetic waste of a gift--tonys motto in life is "ill burn that bridge when i come to it"--

Born in Rolla, Missouri, Salmons grew up in Casa Grande, Arizona, with stops in New York City and San Francisco. Salmons now lives and works in Los Angeles and has two daughters, Phoebe (http://www.livejournal.com/users/callianthus) and Hannah. [edit]
