DOPTONE - 2 reference results
The doptone is a frequently used apparatus used by gynaecologists and midwives that amplifies the unborn baby's heartbeats. It is used as monitoring instrument for the baby's health status during pregnancy, labour, and birth.
Technically, this apparatus functions like echography: The frequency difference between the transmitted and received ultrasonic wave is recorded.
