Bobble
Bobble could refer to a number of things:

  • Small round pieces of fabric that form on natural fabrics through use (such as cotton)
  • A slightly whimsical nodding motion of the head
  • A bobble (knitting)
  • It could be a piece of elastic wrapped in coloured thread used to tie back hair
  • It could refer to a stasis field in Vernor Vinge's Peace Authority science fiction series
  • It could also refer to the round ball of cloth on top of some styles of hats ("bobble hats")
  • To juggle or fumble a ball momentarily, usually resulting in an error, as in baseball
  • A bobble head is an object that moves or "bobbles" its head
