Kipling (Accessories)

Founded in Antwerp, Belgium, in 1987 and named after the British author Rudyard Kipling, Kipling is a company known especially for its line of nylon handbags, backpacks, luggage and accessories distinguished by their round rubber logo and furry monkey keychain. They could be described as similar to Prada's line of pricey nylon bags, except far less expensive and more casual. Kipling reached its pinnacle in the mid-nineties when it became a popular trend, worn by such stars as Tom Cruise, Jim Carrey and John Travolta.
