ZooMontana

ZooMontana is a 70 acre wildlife park located in Billings, Montana, U.S. and is Montana's only zoo and botanical park. First planned in the early 1980s, ZooMontana hosts wildlife native to the Rockies and exotic animals from around the world. The zoo gets about 70,000 visitors annually and is one of the region's most popular tourist attractions.

ZooMontana is an Association of Zoos and Aquariums (AZA) accredited wildlife park & zoo. Among the animals featured are Siberian Tigers, Eastern Gray Wolves, North American River Otter, Bighorn Sheep, Red Panda, Great Horned Owl, Bald Eagles, Sika Deer, Wyoming Toads, Wolverine, and Waterfowl. The animals live in state-of-the-art enclosures designed to imitate their natural habitats.

ZooMontana is divided in 'habitats.'

Asia Habitat The Asia Habitat starts by the wolf habitat and is made of a paved path that goes through a cottonwood forest, the path splits at one point and one half is a nature trail. As you continue the path splits again, one going to Asia's largest feline, and the other going to sika deer and red panda.

Living Wall and Inside Exhibits

Inside Exhibits are divided into two main sections: South American Rain Forest and Montanan Wildlife

South American Rain Forest The South American Rain Forest is made up of two different exhibits, one being large housing the pygmy marmosets, cane toads, and the other being smaller and housing a tree boa.

Education Animals The Education Animal exhibits are located around the South American Rain Forest. Wyoming toads are near the South American exhibit, while the others are on the wall of windows.
