The village has one pub called the 'Plough Inn', serving meals and housing a well-used pool table; the pub can be noticed to the left side of the Main Street immediately after passing the left turning to Welburn (Page Lane). Further up Page Lane there is also a playing field used for cricket in the summer, with tennis court and a children's playground (albeit decaying) close to the entrance. It's chapel was recently knocked down to make room for housing.

Towards the south of the village on the road to Harome, there is a popular caravan site and Canadian airmen memorial next door to an airfield that is still used, but only by one pilot as of 13 January 2007. The airfield is also used (with permission of the current owner) by learner drivers. It is also used for walking dogs (with caution in the presence of learner drivers!)
