William Nathaniel Massey
(1809 – 25 October 1881
) was a British
author and politician
. He first entered the House of Commons
in 1852 as a member
for Newport, Isle of Wight
. He later sat for Salford
and for Tiverton
He also wrote a history of England under King George III, which was published in four volumes between 1855 and 1863.
He was made a Privy Counsellor in 1865.
