William Nathaniel Massey (1809 –
25 October 1881) was a
British author and
politician. He first entered the
House of Commons in 1852 as a
member for
Newport, Isle of Wight. He later sat for
Salford and for
Tiverton.
He also wrote a history of England under King George III, which was published in four volumes between 1855 and 1863.
He was made a Privy Counsellor in 1865.
