Trivia
- Insurrextion 2002 was the last televised show to ever run under the WWF name. Due to a lawsuit by the World Wildlife Fund the Federation changed its name to World Wrestling Entertainment and started to use the WWE name on the following episode of Raw on May 6 2002.
- Insurrextion 2002 was also the first ever pay-per-view promoted under a WWF brand (Raw).
- The infamous "Plane Ride from Hell" occurred after the 2002 event. During the flight, Ric Flair, Scott Hall and Dustin Rhodes allegedly sexually harassed the female flight attendants. According to one of them, Flair was dressed only in one of his robes and flashed his penis (while "spinning" it around). Others alleged incidents on the plane included a shoot fight between Brock Lesnar and Mr. Perfect arguing over their amateur skills, X-Pac getting drunk and shaving the hair of WWE road agent Michael Hayes, Dustin Runnels singing to his ex-wife Terri Runnels who also worked for the WWE and Scott Hall placing shaving cream on people's faces. After this flight, both Hall and Perfect were released from WWE.
