Vancouver-Burrard is a
provincial electoral district for the
Legislative Assembly of
British Columbia,
Canada. It first appeared on the
hustings in the
1933 general election.
For the next election, the riding will be split across two new ridings. The portion west of Burrard, Georgia, Jervis will become the new Vancouver-West End riding. The remainder of Vancouver-Burrard will join part of Vancouver-Fairview to become the new Vancouver-False Creek riding.

History
Member of Legislative Assembly
The constituency is currently vacant as of September 8, 2008. Former Liberal Member of the Legislative Assembly Lorne Mayencourt resigned after winning the federal Conservative nomination to run in Vancouver Centre riding in the 2008 federal election. A by-election has been called for October 29, 2008.
Arthur Griffiths has announced he will run as the BC Liberal candidate, while Spencer Herbert will run for the NDP. The same candidates had earlier announced they would run in Vancouver-West End before Mayencourt had decided to resign.
