Upper Carniola

Upper Carniola

Upper Carniola (Gorenjska; Oberkrain) is a traditional region of Slovenia. It is a part of the historical Habsburg crown land of Carniola. The traditional center of the region is Ljubljana, while other urban centers include Kranj, Jesenice, Tržič, Škofja Loka, Kamnik, and Domžale.
