Union Township School

Union Township School District

The Union Township School District is a community public school district that serves students in kindergarten through eighth grade from Union Township, in Hunterdon County, New Jersey, United States. The new elementary school, appropriately named "Union Township Elementary School" opened for the 2006-2007 school year. The older building has been renamed Union Township Middle School.

Students in grades 9 through 12 attend North Hunterdon High School in Annandale as part of the North Hunterdon-Voorhees Regional High School District. North Hunterdon High School serves students from Bethlehem Township, Clinton Town, Clinton Township, Franklin Township), Lebanon Borough and Union Township.

Mrs. Fran Suchovic is the principal, with Superintendent Jeffery Bender serving as the acting principal at Union Township Elementary School.

School

Union Township School had an enrollment of 600 students as of the 2005-06 school year.

Extracurricular activities

Union Township Middle School offers a wide variety of after school activities; student council, drama club, volleyball, baseball, softball, basketball, soccer, cheerleading, cross-country, science club, computer club, walking club, woodworking, digital video club, as well as art club along with National Junior Honor Society.
