Tyrosine aminotransferase

Tyrosine aminotransferase (or tyrosine transaminase) is an enzyme which is present in the liver and catalyzes the conversion of tyrosine to 4-hydroxyphenylpyruvate.

Pathology

A deficiency can be associated with type II tyrosinemia.
