Cape Ann Light
Cape Ann Light, also known as Cape Ann Light Station, Twin Lights Historic District-Cape Ann Light Station or Thacher's Island Twin Lights, is a National Historic Landmark District around the Cape Ann lighthouse in Rockport, Massachusetts.
The station was the last lighthouse founded during colonial times and the first to "mark a navigational hazard rather than a harbor entrance." The current lighthouse was built in 1860 and was added to the National Historic Register in 1971.
It was declared a National Historic Landmark in 2001.
