It poked fun at the British trade union movement which had been responsible for the recent wave of strikes that culminated in the Winter of Discontent.

The film was not a critical success and unlike the previous four films in the series, has yet to be released on DVD.

Plot

After deciding that they're asked to do too much work, the pupils at St. Trinian's school form a trade union and go on strike.
