Tetralophodon longirostris ("four-ridged tooth") is an extinct genus loosely related to elephants. This Gomphothere(?) has four tusks. It had a trunk. It also had ears. It stood ten feet tall and is a very widespread and successful elephant. It lived through the Miocene and Pliocene Epoch. It was found in a museum in North America, Europe, Asia, and Africa.
